When you double click on Farm Report.jar, Farm Report should start running.  However, if the system attempts to unzip (or extract) the .jar file instead of running it, please try the following:

    1. The file association for files of type .jar may not be properly set on your computer.  You can use the jarfix program to correct this problem.  It can be downloaded from here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Others/Miscellaneous/Jarfix.shtml

Try this solution first!

    1. You may not have Java (also known as the “Java Virtual Machine”, “Java VM”, or “JRE”) installed on your computer, or you may have a very old version. Farm Report is a Java desktop application.  In order to run it, you must have Java installed on your computer. However, it is not necessary that you have Java enabled in your browser.

If you need to install the current version of Java, you can download it from here: http://www.java.com/en/download/.

Please note that this is not a problem for most users, as most computers have Java installed.
